ECB denies rumours of Ben Stokes being Australia-bound for Ashes

England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) issued an official statement to deny rumours that Ben Stokes was on his way to Australia to join up with the England squad for the Ashes. Images of the allrounder being spotted in London's Heathrow airport, with his kitbag in luggage, began to do the rounds on social media and sparked rumours of him being added to the England squad for the next four Tests in Australia.
